VIDEO: Examination Schedule Won’t Change – Nawangwe Assures Makerere University Students

Makerere University, yesterday joined other post secondary institutions in reopening for physical classes after several months of closure. Joyous students were witnessed flooding the hill as well as the streets of Kikoni and Kikumi-kikumi hostels.

However, the “honeymoon” will be short-lived as the Vice Chancellor Prof Barnabas Nawangwe re echoed on the tight roadmap (full schedule here) the university ought to follow to allow timely completion of studies for the different years of study.

A case in point, finalists who reported yesterday November 1 are to study for only two weeks and commence exams on 15th November. Despite the students’ complaint about the insufficient time, the VC has insisted that approved time should be well utilized by students concentrating on their studies.
