At the end of last week, Campus Bee brought to you an exclusive on Ms Misheline Mutuzo, a former Makerere University law student who got pregnant and dropped out of school. The former Miss Tourism of Tooro Region, also shared with us her journey of getting her life back in line and it is what we bring you today.
Ms Mutuzo, currently in her final year at MTAC pursuing a Diploma in Clearing and Forwarding, is also a proud co-owner of two start-up businesses; one dealing in cleaning (Miss Clean) and another that deals in flowers (Batai Flowers).
When most of you read her story about how she handled her pregnancy, you came out supportive of her and for that, she sends her regards. She calls upon all young people to understand that life will never be a straight path and they should always no that a stumble is not the end of it all.
“Life will roll stones at you and most of them will hit you. If they don’t kill you, make sure to get back up, learn from them and aspire to transform your life around.” Mutuzo told Campus Bee.
With her bestfriend and co-owner, Mutuzo opened up offices for the start-ups at Equatorial Mall (Room 523) and they divided work to ensure the prosperity of each. While she manages Miss Clean, her bestfriend manages Batai Flowers.
“We run the two separetely but are accountable to each other.” Mutuzo highlighted.
At the moment, she employs 9 Ugandans in her Miss Clean business and one other in the Batai Flowers business. Watch her full story below;
