Jimmy Kachabali, a viral Makerere University student pursuing Law has systematically laid a plan that he will execute if voted the GRC of Mitchell Hall. Among other things, Kachabali is planning to launch a sports tournament dubbed ‘Kachabali Tournament’ which has nothing to do with the Ankole legendary sex style, Kachabali.
While speaking to Campus Bee, Kachabali explained that the yet to be launched tournament is aimed at uniting students from Mitchell and Complex Halls of residence.
“Just as the name has been viral, we intend to organize a tournament that we shall call Kachabali Tournament. Quote me well, it is not a sex tournament but it’s a sports tournament that is going to unite students and residents from Mitchell Hall and residents from Complex Hall.” Kachabali said.
“The Complex girls are known for volleyball, so we are going to use our volleyball court right here and then our brothers will play kataka (football). Then at the end of the day we will have an animal, either a goat or a cow.” He added.
The second year Law student also assured that the Kachabali Tournament will be held every semester whether he is voted as GRC or not.
Among other things, Kachabali is also planning to introduce a Mitchellex Fund that is aimed at helping financially struggling students, both residents and non-residents of Mitchell and Complex Halls. Kachabali and his colleagues intend to sell branded jumpers to students and the money raised will be saved in the fund.
