Vienna College Namugongo over the weekend had 225 students graduating in year 11 and year 13.
Out of the 225 students, 114 students were from year 11 which is the equivalent of O’level and 141 graduates were from year 13 which is equivalent to A’level.
The students were joined by their parents, teachers, board of directors and the entire graduation ceremony was presided over by Professor Mondo Kagonyera as the chief guest.
The long day event had a three in one session as it started with the graduation then headed to the after party and closed with the Prom where this year’s King and Queen were elected.
To crown their evening, singer Fik Fameica was in attendance and he gave the students the best of his performances.
Fik Fameica did songs like Property, Stylo Nta, Bwepaba, Crazy company, Majje, Lov Lov and Kachima among others.
Mr Muhammed Kakiika, the School’s Principal told the graduates that witnessing them reach greater heights is a very good experience and that it makes them special and reminds him of the first day they stepped foot at Vienna College Namugongo.
Mr Robert Kabonero, the Chairperson of the School’s Board of Governors said that ever since the school was started in 2002, it has always been the leader when it comes to student’s enrollment and academic excellence.
