Kampala International University (KIU) held its 28th graduation ceremony today, 25th November, 2023.
Close to 2000 students were awarded with certificates, diplomas and degrees in various disciplines.
In attendance was the leader of opposition party National Unity Platform Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine who had come to witness one of his “special employees” graduate.
Higenyi Sherif, an apprentice of Bobi’s was among the 1,862 graduands and his master was there to grace the occasion.
The grauand seems to be a man of many talents, as described by Bobi Wine, having completed his studies while working as a security guard and gardener.
“Today is a happy day in our home. Warm congratulations to one of our special employees, friend and family member-Higenyi Sherif. A security guard by night, gardener by day, and student by weekend. He graduates today from Kampala International University. Thank you for making us proud and for being an inspiration to many other Ugandans who seek self development amidst challenging circumstances. May Allah reward your hard work and discipline and may he answer all your prayers. Congratulations again,” Bobi Wine remarked.
