Kampala International University (KIU) has officially confirmed the date for its 31st Graduation Ceremony.
The event is set to take place on Saturday, June 14, 2025.
This years occasion will also mark the university’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
In a notable departure from tradition, the university administration has revealed plans to host the graduation ceremony at its Western Campus in Ishaka.
This change of location aligns with KIU’s announcement regarding the establishment of the first private cancer institute at the Western Campus, marking a significant milestone in Uganda’s healthcare landscape.
When completed, it will become the first privately-owned specialized cancer treatment and research facility in the country.
The 31st graduation ceremony is expected to see thousands of students conferred with various degrees across multiple disciplines.
Tentative graduation lists are already circulating on the university website and prospective graduands are encouraged to clear procedures as soon as possible.
Students and graduation participants can find additional information about the ceremony through the university’s official channels, including its website (www.kiu.ac.ug) and social media platforms.
