Makerere 73rd Graduation: Here’s the List of Suppliers Authorized to Sell Graduation Gowns

Makerere University Academic Registrar, Prof Buyinza Mukadasi has ring fenced the supply of official graduation gowns.

In a letter to all Graduands, Prof Buyinza has categorically made it clear that one will only get other graduation requirements upon presenting proof of purchase of graduation gowns from the listed authorized suppliers.

“All graduands are required to buy gowns from the above approved suppliers and provide proof of purchase before accessing other graduation materials and services,” the memo reads in part.

The authorized suppliers are;

M/S Goreth Sekisulo for MUBS, M/S Winfred for CONAS, CHS, & Law, |M/S. Fundi Building Center for CAES & CEES, M/S. Macks Investments for COBAMS, COCIS, COVAB, _M/S. Sokana Ltd for CHUSS and M/S. Clanok Garments for CEDAT.

It is not indicated where the above suppliers were subject to competitive bidding or what criteria was used to select them as suppliers.

This is to inform you that the following suppliers have been approved to supply official graduation gowns for the 73rd graduation ceremony to be held from 13th February to 17th February 2023.

All graduands are required to buy gowns from the above approved suppliers and provide proof of purchase before accessing other graduation materials and services.

Please note that PhD graduands have their own special graduation gown that can be purchased from the Suppliers on order.
