MUST to Change Graduation Gowns, Each Faculty to Use Unique Color

Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) is set to further decentralize the code of dressing for all graduands.

This, according to a memo by the Academic Registrar, Dr. Martha Kyoshaba Twinamasiko communicating senate’s resolution.

The memo was directed towards the graduands of the forthcoming February 2024 ceremony.

Notably, at the 93rd Senate directed that;

• Each Faculty shall have a uniform colour for all the hoods. That means every programme under the Faculty shall wear the same colour. The gowns shall be black
• The Gowns shall have the MUST Logo on the chest and MUST initials of the arms

Attached are details of how gowns of graduands at different levels from the different faculties should look like.

The new designs will be implemented with effect from next year’s ceremony that will pass out the 30th congregation.
