The Petroleum Authority of Uganda (PAU) has officially opened applications for its June to August 2026 internship programme, inviting eligible students across the country to gain hands-on experience in Uganda’s growing oil and gas sector.
According to the announcement, the internship is designed to equip students with practical skills aligned to the Authority’s mandate, while offering exposure to real-world industry operations. The programme targets students whose academic backgrounds are relevant to PAU’s areas of work.

PAU has outlined a diverse list of fields that qualify for the internship, reflecting the multidisciplinary nature of the oil and gas industry. These include:
