Timothy Nkenu Woma, a 17-year-old first year Law student at Uganda Christian University [UCU] is in the helm of uniting African poets. Named the youngest university student at the moment by Campusbee, a young, self-driven fast thinker founded African Poetry Project to merge and blend all African poetry done by young Africans.
“I started The African Poetry Project this year to bring young African Poets together under one platform. Also, another aim is to release poetry compilations of poems of young African poets just like we’ve released our first compilation which is currently on sale via Amazon,” Nkenu told Campusbee.
The Project recently released its first African Poetry Compilation which features works of young poets from all over the continent.
