The former Uganda’s Prime Minister was the chief guest at the hand over of the 80th Guild speaker to the 81st Guild speaker.
Amama Mbabazi thanked the students leaders for their invitation and asked them to know their roles as youth in the country leadership.
“We did our role when we were youth some decades ago, to have the Uganda that you see now. My role now is to help you do your part in your generation to determine the future of this country,” said Amama.
Amama’s appearence in Makerere is not to be underestimated as he comes just a day after Gen.david Sejjusa among others, who were at Mary Stuart.
As 2016 elections draws near, we are yet to see what happens in the political spheres of this country, Uganda.
When asked about his candidature, Amama re-echoed the famous intellectual statement that: “Intelligence is knowing what to do, and wisdom is knowing when to do it, I will be discussing more and more in the near future,” he noted sending the whole conference room that had been filled to capacity to laughter and chants of “we want Mbabazi.”
