H.E Yoweri Museveni has cautioned graduates to avoid the temptation of getting rich quickly through corrupt means as they start off their careers.
President Museveni, who was represented by his Vice president Jessica Alupo during the 23rd graduation ceremony at Ndejje university, said in a message that was read out to the graduates.
President Museveni also urged graduates to be relevant to society by focusing on societal needs and advocating for dialogue as opposed to confrontation.
“…its your abilities and skills that will help you to contribute to sustainable social and economic transformation of our communities. You must avoid the temptation of getting rich quickly through corrupt means…” part of President Museveni’s message as read by Jessica Alupo.
Over 1500 students graduated at Ndejje University’s 23rd graduation ceremony –an event that was officiated by the Vice President of the republic of Uganda Jessica Alupo.
The fresh graduates will now embark on a new journey of job hunting in order to put the knowledge bestowed onto them in practice.
