Led by CEO Allan Lwanga, a team from aYo has today handed over starter packs to Boda Boda riders in Kamwokya this morning. The items include registration books, pens and face-shields.

According to these officials, the donated items serve as support towards ensuring compliance with COVID-19 guidelines. The activity is a partnership between aYo and MTN Uganda.

Duiring his recent address on COVID-19, President Yoweri Museveni allowed Boda Boda riders to resume work on Monday July 27th and a set of Standard Operating Procedures were issued. The riders were tasked to register all their customers in addition to wearing face masks under their helmets.

aYo offers medical insurance services to MTN subscribers. Simply register on your cellphone for aYo Recharge with Care and get a minimum of 30 days’ free cover every time you load MTN airtime.
