Ahead of Busitema University’s 11th graduation ceremony slated to happen virtually on 19th March 2021, the institution’s Academic Registrar Lillian Nabaasa Gimunguni has released more guidelines for graduands.
According to Gimunguni’s statement that Campus Bee has seen, only four graduands from each under graduate program and two graduands from each Masters program will be invited to represent the entire students at the virtual graduation.
The statement further indicates that those invited will not come with parents/guardians while the rest will follow the proceedings virtually.
“Only 4 (four) graduands from each under graduate program and 2 (two) graduands from each Masters program shall be invited to represent the entire students at the virtual graduation and these will be informed in due course. Those invited shall not come with Parents/ Guardians. For the rest of the graduands, the ceremony will be streamed live on one of the TV stations, University website and YouTube.” Part of the statement reads.
All Graduands will be required to pay a graduation fee of UGX 200,000 plus UGX 3,000 as bank charges, according to Gimunguni.
The Academic Registrar further informed graduands that the list of Graduands will be available on the University Website (www.busitema.ac.ug) from Wednesday 10th March2021.
