Canary Mugume’s Fiancée Graduates From Makerere University

Fresh off saying “yes I will marry you” to media personality Canary Mugume, Shasha Ferguson has today joined hundreds of graduands to close off Makerere University’s  71st graduation ceremony. The former TV presenter, who graduated in a yet to be known course vowed to continue with humanitarian work after completing her studies.

“Now let’s seriously deal with mental health and also continue with our humanitarian work,” Sasha posted on her Instagram on Friday.

Sasha and Mugume made headlines few weeks ago when they shared photos of their engagement day, after dating for a decade.

The Makerere University 71st graduation ceremony which started on Monday 17th has ended today 21st May with graduands from College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology as well as the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.

The ceremony saw a total of 12,550 graduands secure degrees and diplomas in their respective courses. During this ceremony, 6,433 (51%) students were female while 6,117 (49%)  male.
