Campus Bee has been receiving reports that some Kyambogo University students have not yet received their 2018 and 2019 exam results but the administration had not come out to clearly address these concerns.
Our drones on ground have today morning received yet another complaint from another Kyambogo student who preferred to remain anonymous. The student in question is currently in second year semester II and has not received results for 1st year semester II.
The disgruntled student, who is starting to lose patience has further alerted us that the scholarship providers cannot pay more tuition unless the previous results are released.
“I am currently in 2nd year 2nd semester, and we don’t have results for as far as 1st year 2nd semester, am on a scholarship and in order to pay my tuition for my current semester, i must submit results for the previous semester. So if my results for 1st year 2nd semester are not there, meaning i haven’t paid tuition for 2nd year 1st semester and yet we are already in 2nd semester. I am at the verge of losing my scholarship due to the university failing to deliver services we pay for in millions of money.” The student explained.
Apparently, the university also denied this student to sit for some exams in the previous semester citing “University is not for the Poor”.
“They even prevented me from doing some papers of last semester because I had not paid yet it’s the University’s fault. We have tried talking to the whole administration and they keep on telling us “University is not for the Poor”. I don’t have where to run to.” The disgruntled student narrated further.
It is also said that some Kyambogo students have not received their marks for two semesters and they don’t know if they have retakes or not.
We will keep you posted!
