Makerere University Business School – MUBS has released a detailed programme for the orientation of first year students for the academic year 2020/2021. The orientation will be a four-day activity slated to run from 1st March 2021 t0 4th March.
According to a document from the MUBS registrar’s office that Campus Bee has obtained, the orientation will kick off with a meeting with faculty dean/campus directors and heads of department on Monday 1st March 8am.
Faculties expected to show up on Monday and Tuesday include; Faculty of Entrepreneurship and Business Administration, Faculty of Computing and Informatics, Accounting and Finance Department (regional campuses), Faculty of Marketing and Hospitality Management, and Faculty of graduate Studies and Research.
Later on Monday, freshers will be trained on how to enroll into the AIMS system as well as attending sessions on how to use the MUBS e-learning platform and this will be conducted online.
On Tuesday 2nd March 2021, freshers will undergo familiarization with campus environment and basic academic regulations. There will also be a demonstration of online registration, which will be conducted online.
