MBALE: As Islamic University in Uganda examinations period which started on 21st April for the academic year 2016/17 ends, eleven students at the Mbale campus will today appear before the examination committee for hearing on allegations of exam malpractice and related issues.
The students were summoned on Sunday with letters, copies of which have been circulated all over university notice boards.
In the course of examinations, several of the invited were found with prior written material (see bullets) in hijabs and pockets whereas others caught in flagrante delicto.
This comes before the memos warning and reminding students not to involve in any such practice are unpinned from the notice boards.
Islamic University has no kindness to cheats. If found guilty, the punishments include but not limited to dead years and expulsion.
The last batch of students finished their exams yesterday [Monday].
