Following President Museveni’s decision to prolong the closure of all education institutions in Uganda, ISBAT University has been continuing with academic progression on their accredited Virtual Hybrid Learning Platform in a bid to serve the student community.
The latest developments indicate that the university has unveiled a Virtual Live Class which is currently engaging all students with interactive, self-paced virtual classrooms spearheaded by the university’s subject specialists. It is said that a complete set of lecture notes has been made available through the virtual platform for all learners.
The university will also be conducting guided virtual practical lessons which will also include simulations, Lab manuals among others. Students will be provided with an immersive hands-on learning environment which will enable them to effectively grasp complex academic concepts in a highly interactive virtual environment.
During this COVID-19 lockdown, the university will also conduct Online Assignment which helps the learners to be more confident and focused on subjects through research initiatives.
In collaboration with the Consortium of Uganda University Libraries (CUUL), ISBAT University will also enable its students to access more than 50,000 Digital Books, Journals, and white papers through the E- Library.
After learning of the challenges faced by the students in terms of availability of data and other technical issues, the University management is currently engaging the service providers to make the data available at an affordable cost to the student community, for their dedicated access to their Virtual Hybrid Learning Platform.
