It was a hillarious night yesterday on NBS TV’s political talk show The Frontline when security analyst and former Makerere Guild President Charles Rwomushana shamed his own host by declaring it to the world that he failed pre-entry exams to the Law Development Centre (LDC).
Rwomushana was a guest panelist on the talk show that is hosted by Charles Ondongtho, a former law student at Makerere University. While explaining government inefficiency in education, Rwomushana was wondering why someone who already has a degree in Law would be subjected to a pre-entry for a diploma in Legal Practice.
“Someone with a degree in Law has to first sit for a pre-entry to do a diploma. Can you imagine?” Rwomushana wondered. He immediately took a swipe at his host Ondongtho saying he knows that he failed the pre-entry.
“And you failed the pre-entry. I know you failed a pre-entry to do a diploma. Can you imagine?” Rwomushana said, as Democratic Party President General Nobert Mao burst out in uncontrollable laughter.
Rwomushana was a student of education at Makerere University and served as guild president. He is mostly remembered for advocating for the rights of poor and underprivileged students throughout his tenure as president. He served in security organs of government before he fell out with the regime and became a strong critic.
