As many S.6 leavers can’t wait to step foot at the prestigious Makerere University, many others are much more anxious as they wait for their Law pre-entry results so they can be able to make a decision on what course to apply for.
The Law pre-entry exams where sat for on Saturday 22nd April, 2017 and for the first time, results to this exam have delayed. It should be noted that Private admissions have started and usually, the Law pre-entry exam results are out before private admissions start.
“I don’t know whether to give up on my pursuit to do Law. The fact is I could have passed, but how am I supposed to know,” Mark an S.6 vacist commented.
Akiteng Mary, a senior six vacist from Gombe SS wonders how she’ll know what to apply for when the results have not been released. “I want to know my fate with law…if I have failed, I should be applying but I can’t know yet…this is frustrating.”
About two days ago, Kato Paul, the Makerere Guild President wrote to the Academic Registrar regarding the Law pre-entry exams but unfortunately, there has not been any reply from the concerned offices/officers.
