The fraternity at Kabale University is hovered over by a dark cloud following the untimely demise of their very own female Graduand, Ms. Allen Akankunda (registration number – 17/A/BAED/1710/F) who breathed her last on Sunday, 23rd May.
The late Akankunda finished her Bachelor’s of Arts in Education (BAED) course in 2020, when finalists resumed face to face classes.
According to reports that Campus Bee has received, the deceased was among those expected to graduate with a first class.
The main cause of her death still remains unknown however, a section of the reports we have received indicate that she suffered intense health complications before she passed on, yesterday.
Friends and family couldn’t help but express heavy hearts in this very painful moment and great loss.
“This is a very dark moment, 5 days to graduatuion and you left us! May your soul rest in Peace” one of the classmates, Mr. Trinity Asingia sorrowfully wrote.
The University is slated to hold the 5th graduation on Friday May 28, 2021 virtually and physically for first class graduands in addition to Master’s student’s.
May the soul of the deceased rest in eternal peace.
