It’s a fact well known that up to 90% of University students live below the poverty line.
It’s also true as the gospel that Campusers are key consumers of wheat in form of kikomando and rolex which are the compositions of the one- meal- per day policy adopted by campusers. In bid to evade and avoid poverty, students are known to engage in suspicious activity that any sane and civilized society would not accept, gambling, thievery looting and sexual favors by ladies.
University students often engage in money saving ventures like shunning hostels and instead embracing rentals.
“Rentals” is a misleading word coined by University students to refer to hardly inhabitable, shacks, structures that are covered. Whose roofs leak when it drizzles and flood when it lightly rains. Rentals are single roomed houses, often occupied by up to four people who use curtains to create rooms.
It’s not strange to realize that a rental doubles as a day time shop and as a bedroom after midnight.
Now to add salt and pepper to injury, the iron lady doesn’t want the mzigos anymore. She’s insisting on developing the slums of Kikoni, Banda, Kireka, Kikumi kikumi.
She’s shaken the city, She’s defrocked a Lord Mayor and kicked out a general “eyazilwanako “from a mansion. Her name is Jennifer Musisi she’s coming to a single roomed house near you soon.
