Having tried to pursue studies at Makerere University but sadly failing to secure an admission, television star Sheilah Gashumba has revealed that having a degree would actually add nothing to her hustle.
After congratulating a friend who graduated last week, the NTV Style Project co-host was asked by a follower (Cephas Tendereza) when she is planning to go to campus. In the follower’s view, having a degree would make Sheilah an influential influencer in addition to her ambassadorial gigs.
“BTW – Sheila when are you going University. Imagine if you had the ka Degree to your CV profile as an influential influencer – Ambassador how much more contracts you would attract?” the curious Tendereza asked.
In her response, Sheila revealed that she would attract nothing more or less before explaining that most of the deals she gets only need a huge following on social media.
“I would attract nothing more or less!!! My Ambassador deals ask for my social media followers and audience not my school reports!! Thank you, next question?” Sheilah twitted.
Sheilah recently launched her reality show dubbed “Being Sheilah Gashumba” which will be airing on her You-tube channel in a series of episodes. The show is set to contribute to her monthly ‘bag’ (income) in addition to her initial earnings from NTV, social media influencing as well as tapping free cash from God’s Plan, her current boyfriend.
It turns out Sheila, who was once rumored to be studying in a South African-based university (online) doesn’t have any academic skills as well as papers.
