Youthful NBS TV news anchor and investigative Journalist, Canary Mugume is at it again, and this time, with an extra-ordinary fond childhood memory.
Speaking at a recent interview with a Ugandan Magazine, Mugume revealed how his kindergarten was remarkable having studied three classes in one year mentioning that it was all thanks to the pre-schooling by his elder brother at home.
“In kindergarten, I did three classes in one year. I started from middle class in first term, in second term I was in top class and in third term I was promoted to primary one. This was because I was first homeschooled by my elder brother; so, I already knew most of the things” Mugume said, in the interview.
The youthful journalist also revealed how he was always the youngest in the classes attended during his time in kindergarten mentioning that he was the youngest candidate in primary seven at the time, at just 10 years old.
Canary, unlike most TV personalities, admitted that he went through tough times when he was always chased out of class because of fees-defaulting and interestingly, he scooped the opportunity to be a prefect at both primary and secondary level, which was unusual to him for the fact that he had always been seen as a fees defaulter [See? Luck is heavenly sent]
