Yesterday, Monday the 15th of June 2020, Prof. Aaron Mushengyezi, the formally declared incoming vice-chancellor of Uganda Christian University (UCU) held his first ever official meeting with university chancellor Rev. Dr. Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu who also serves as the Bishop of Mityana Diocese and 9th Archbishop of Uganda.
Gracing the meeting as-well was the current and recently announced retiring vice chancellor of the university, Rev. Can. Dr. John Senyonyi.
Looking into the incentive of the meeting, our reporter learned that the meeting was held as a guise of formal orientation for the incoming Prof. Mushengyezi into his newly earned position as has been customary of the university and as such had no austere agenda to tend to.
It’s no secret that the incoming vice chancellor Dr. Mushengyezi is fond of the university speculating from his tours about the campus and various public mentions of the estate’s facilities as he marks the end of Rev. Senyonyi’s decade of reign over the institution.
