The deputy Lord Mayor of Kampala, Doreen Nyanjura has met Onesmus of the famous ‘I’ll be submissive’ viral video.
In a video that has flooded social media platforms, Mr. Apologies is seen kneeling in a certain room in Mary Stuart hall, seeking redemption for his transgressions from his less-interested girlfriend.
“I will always be submissive, I’m saying this in everyone’s presence, please forgive me,” the guy implored as the chic sarcastically replied that it was “okay” she had forgiven him and no need to talk.
However, Ms Nyanjura on Sunday evening met Onesmus and assured him that men kneeling is normal.
She said;
“I have had a very beautiful afternoon with Onesmus who became ‘prominent’ when his ex’s friends recorded a video of him asking for forgiveness from his girlfriend. I have told him there is nothing wrong with loving genuinely. I told him to ignore society stereotypes of men don’t kneel.
For some men when chucked, they commit suicide, others murder those that chuck them, he chose peace.
When rejected we all react differently; he chose peaceful means & not extremism. I told him that he destined for greatness.
To you all mocking & making fun of Onesmus, do you ever imagine your bro, your uncle, your own child or even yourself could be subjected to the same ridicule b’se someone betrayed your trust & recorded a video.
Let’s not be harsh to this handsome brilliant chap. He was already going through a lot by being rejected by someone he loved, let’s be different; let’s treat him with kindness & love. Much love little bro. Don’t learn to hate or become a sadist b’se a sadist treated u bad.
Onesmus starts his exams on 16th Jan 2023, let’s send him love.”
