Veteran singer – turned legend Joseph Mayanja alias Jose Chameleone has enrolled for a course at Cavendish University. The singer has shared a picture of himself while at the mentioned university with a “books” emoji, few months after losing the Kampala City Mayoral race.
Former presidential aspirant Bobi Wine is also currently enrolled at the same university pursuing a law degree.
It remains unclear what course the music doctor will be undertaking but whatever he is doing has something to do with enhancing his knowledge.
During lockdown, the Leone Island CEO revealed that he had enrolled for an online course to study International Diplomacy (Degree) but the university remains unknown up to date.
“This period has really given us a lot of time. We music artists are now making new music because of the time that we have right now. In fact, I am studying online for a degree in International Diplomacy,” Chameleone said last year.
The veteran singer was among the candidates that sat for their UACE exams in 2019 and when the results came through, he scored 12 points. He sat his exams at Katuuso Community Secondary School in Makindye Division.
Speaking of Cavendish University, well, it looks like the university has a thing for celebrities. The university has admitted several celebrities as their students including Kyadondo East legislator Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine, Bettinah Tianah, a model and media personality, among others.
