Presidential candidate John Katumba has once again made more hilarious promises to his supporters during his recent address in Mayuge District.
The fresh Makerere University graduate has vowed to sign a presidential decree allowing Ugandans to have monthly Christmas celebrations instead of having to wait for December.
According to Katumba, his government will go an extra mile and buy clothes to financially struggling families if at all they are worried about what to wear on the monthly celebrations.
“In my government, we can have it monthly and if you’re worried about clothes for the children and food, the Finance Ministry will always provide,” Katumba promised.
The fired up youthful presidential candidate, who is ready to take power also disclosed that in countries with selfless leaders, Christmas in celebrated about six to eight times a year.
“Museveni is selfish. He is using all the oil money and he cannot give you Christmas every month as you would want.” Katumba added.
Katumba, who has not explained how Jesus will be born every month sealed his meeting with “Katumba Oyee!!!”, leaving Mayuge residents in laughter.
Katumba’s promise has come weeks after he assured Ugandans that his government will also construct a house for every family.
The former Makerere University student has been a major topic ever since his first nomination attempt flopped over failure to clear nomination fees.
On the same day, Katumba’s car got a mechanical breakdown in Nakawa, few minutes to his nomination. The confused Katumba immediately got out of the car and jogged his way to the nomination venue in Kyambogo.
