Kyambogo University students head to polls tomorrow. The Kyambogo Electoral Commission on Wednesday received polling materials ahead of the elections on Thursday 11th March.
The Banda based electoral body today released a list of different campus polling posts for Guild President, GRCs and hall chairpersons. According to the list, there are over 44 polling stations at the second biggest public university.
The Guild Presidential elections will be held on 11th March for Guild Presidents and GRCs and hall executives on 12th March.
Campus Bee has been informed that security on polling day will be tight as Uganda police has been tasked to provide security to curtail and nip in the bud any likely electoral violence.
NUP Candidate leads race
Meanwhile, the National Unity Platform (NUP) Guild Presidential candidate, Mbaziira John seems to be leading the race if social media polls are to go by. He’s closely being trailed by Forum for Democratic Change (FDC), Trust Mugisha.
