Bahat Majid Fahad, a former Kyambogo University student has officially declared his candidature for the LCV Councillor-ship of Kyambogo Institutions in Nakawa Division come 2021. Through his social media platforms, the former Kyambogo student revealed that he has the ability to solve the area’s problems if he is elected.
Bahat joined Kyambogo University in 2013 on government sponsorship for a Bachelor of Engineering in Automotive and Power Engineering (graduated in 2017). He was in 2015 voted as the vice-chairperson of the Automotive and Power Engineering Association (KYUAPESA).
In the same year he contested for guild presidency as an independent candidate but he unfortunately lost. The electorate sent him to Taiwan for holiday.
“With special pleasure, honour and a deep sense of humility I declare to you my intentions to contest for the position of Lord Councillor Five (LC V) Kyambogo Institutions in Nakawa Division ,Kampala 2021-2026.” Bahat’s post reads.
“I pledge to build upon the foundation already laid by my predecessors over the years, strengthen the weak pillars and fill the cracks in the process. In presenting myself for service, I make no pretense that I have the ability to solve all the current Kyambogo Institutions problems.” Bahat writes further.
Shortly after finishing campus, Bahat was spotted in the Jinja and Makindye togikwatako strikes which launched his mature political ambitions.
