Friends and family of slain Kyambogo University, Kimera Bonifance, have launched a public appeal to gather more facts regarding the mysterious death of their beloved.
On Monday 14th 2022, a body of Kimera Bonifance; a final year student of Automotive Engineering at Kyambogo University was found by people after missing for days from the university.
Kimera, an employee of TATA was last seen on 13th March 2022 when he was preparing for the end of semester examinations that were poised to start the following day.
Weeks later, as friends and relatives struggle with the trauma-filled experience, a public appeal has been launched to aid in ascertaining details about the actual cause of the horrible incident.
“Please help us in finding out what happened to Kimera Boniface, a 23 yrs old. Student from Kyambogo University. Kimera left home between 5:30pm – 6:00pm on Sunday 13th March after a phone call,” part of the appeal reads.
“Last sighting of Boniface was Sunday evening along Mutungo Bina road entering an unknown car. Body was found Monday on 14th in a swamp next to Lake Victoria Portbell, Luzira,” the request adds.
