Kyambogo University’s 17th Guild has today launched the Health week to cater for its diverse community members.
The Health camp will run every week day from 9:00am-5:00pm starting 3rd November till 10th November 2021 at the TTE GROUNDS
Apparently, the initiative is to be run under the theme; “Together For Safe Re-opening of Kyambogo”
Like most other tertiary, Kyambogo University too opened to learners for physical lectures hence an increase in the number of people around the university amidst the covid-19 pandemic.
The Health camp will therefore, among other issues, address the following:
Covid-19 Vaccination, Hepatitis B, Vaccination, Male Circumcision, Ophthalmology, Cancer Screening, Blood Donation, HIV Testing, TB Testing.
The 17th Guild set the move at a time where some Kyambogo University students were denied entry if they didn’t possess Covid-19 vaccination cards (details here) with hope of solving such related challenges.
