As several university students continue to struggle with mental health during the ongoing COVID-19 induced lockdown, Kyambogo University Mechanical Engineering Students Association (KYUMESA) in partnership with Kyambogo University Engineering Society (KYUES) are slated to hold an online discussion about boosting mental health and innovation during lockdown.
According to Anderson Jacques Miracle, a representative from KYUES, they have invited professional psychiatrists to advise them on how best they can go through the lockdown.
“The major aim of the talk is to boost mental health and innovation during the lockdown because we had a fellow engineer who committed suicide last semester and another who attempted to, at the beginning of the lockdown. Therefore we have invited professional psychiatrists to address us on how best we can go through the lockdown.” Miracle told Campus Bee.
All students are invited to join the online discussion via https://meet.google.com/zgs-tcks-krn this Wednesday, August 4.
