Headed by the Guild President elect, Julius Kateregga, the 85th Makerere University guild government is scheduled to swear in this Wednesday, March 27th, at a ceremony expected to take place in the university’s main building.
According to Kato Martins, the university’s information minister, who is also among the 84th government leaders expected to handover their offices on that day, the general public including students are invited to attend this event. Kato is also the PRO for this year’s Makerere university electoral commission.
“I take this opportunity to appreciate everyone for the journey well traversed till this moment. I wish to cordially inform every one of us that the Swearing in Ceremony for the 85th guild house is scheduled for Wednesday, 27th March, 2019. This memorial event is to take place in the Main building at 2pm.You are therefore invited to attend this function in order to witness the happenings.” An official statement shared on Kato’s Facebook page reads.
