As Kampala was recovering from the morning downpour yesterday, the angel of death nearly claimed the life of an unidentified young woman cruising a Toyota Harrier registration number: UAW549S.
According to Mucunguzi, the Makerere police chief, the lady is a daughter to a lecturer who sits at senate. He wouldn’t divulge anymore information.
The lady’s brakes apparently failed while she sloped down Livingstone terrace; the staff quarters en route to work. The unidentified girl was not in the vehicle by press time. She’d gone home from where she would proceed to a medical facility for medical help.
No one was hurt physically in the process, the perimeter wall at the junction between Livingstone and Africa was rammed into and crashed and the rails brought down.
The vehicle was towed away by police breakdown. The Car suffered epic damage at the front, but it could still run.
