MAK Vice-Chancellor, Ddumba Sentamu’s mum passes on

Campus Bee has reliably learnt that Mother to Makerere University Vice-Chancellor Prof Ddumba Sentamu has passed on this morning.

The professor that is battling myriads of problems with Makerere University has been struck by the news that his ageing mother breathed her last.

Dr Stella Nyanzi a relative to the Professor confirmed the passing of Ddumba’s mother and was saddened by the fact that her children had just spent a weekend with the late.

“It is with sorrow that I announce the passing on of my Jaja-Mukyala Ssentamu, mother to Prof. John Ddumba Ssentamu.

My children visited her last weekend and were amazed by her strength through illness. Omukama amuwumuze mirembe!”, confirmed Dr Stella Nyanzi in her post on her facebook page.

The late jaja sentamu had been battling an illness for a while and had regained some strength but to the dismay of many family members, she breathed her last today morning.
