Phaneroo Ministries International is set to host the fifth edition of the Global Inter-University Conference on November 14, 2026, bringing together students from universities, technical colleges, vocational schools and specialised training institutions.
The conference will take place at the Phaneroo Grounds in Naguru, Kampala, starting at 2pm.
Organisers said the annual gathering will focus on spiritual growth, leadership, personal development and purpose, while also creating opportunities for counselling, networking and career development.
This year’s line-up includes Phaneroo Ministries vision bearer Apostle Grace Lubega, renowned leadership coach and author Dr Cindy Trimm, and Apostle Felix Okoh of House of Treasures Ministries in Johannesburg.
Zambian gospel musician Pompi will lead worship and ministry alongside a line-up of Ugandan gospel ministers.
Students to get career opportunities
According to Phaneroo, the conference is designed to equip young people with biblical principles and practical skills to help them navigate challenges in a rapidly changing world.
The ministry said it has partnered with several organisations to connect students with professionals, corporate networks and potential employers.
Professional counselling will also be available to participants.
Lubega said the conference is intended to help prepare young people for leadership and national transformation.
“We believe that this generation carries tremendous potential to transform nations,” Lubega said during last year’s conference.
“The Global Inter-University Conference exists to raise young people who are spiritually grounded, intellectually equipped and prepared to lead with excellence in every sphere of society.”
Talent showcase
The event will also feature a student talent showcase, with participants competing in music, dance and drama.
Outstanding performers will receive prizes.
Organisers said previous editions have attracted testimonies from participants relating to healing, academic and financial breakthroughs and renewed hope.
Beyond the religious programme, the conference has increasingly positioned itself as a platform where students from different institutions can meet, network and discuss their personal and professional development.
Phaneroo said it had secured the necessary permissions from relevant authorities and put security measures in place for the event.
The ministry added that it was working with security agencies and other partners to ensure a safe environment for participants.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the venue.
