According to a statement shared on Makerere University’s official social media platforms, admission letters for students admitted on government sponsorship are ready and freshers can pick them from their respective collages as well as Makerere University Business School (MUBS).
According to the statement, issuance will kick off this Monday 25th January 2021.
“Students admitted on Government Sponsorship are hereby informed that admission letters are ready for collection from their respective colleges and at Makerere University Business School (MUBS), for those admitted to programmes offered at MUBS. Issuance starts 25th January, 2021.” The statement reads.
The communication has come few days after the Makerere University Academic Registrar Mr. Alfred Masikye Namoah released a detailed academic calendar for the year 2020/2021.
According to the calendar, Makerere’s freshers’ orientation week will run from Saturday 30th January to Friday 5th February 2021 (7 days ). The calendar further indicates that semester one will officially kick off on Saturday 6th February 2021.
Information regarding the number of this year’s government sponsored students remains scanty but we will update you once details fall in.
