Following the university’s move to hold a partially virtual graduation ceremony that will see majority of graduands attending the ceremony remotely, the university has not listed graduation gowns on the key requirements. It remains unclear whether graduands will buy gowns from the university or privately.
It should be recalled that Makerere is still on the hunt for another company that will supply graduation gowns following the contract expiry of their previous supplier.
