National Unity Platform (NUP) diehard and Makerere University student Musiri David is still missing after being whisked away by unknown goons on Monday night. According to Julius Kateregga, the outgoing Makerere University guild president, Musiri was knocked and whisked away by unknown goons in a Toyota Premio.
“I have gotten information that Last night another pack goons knocked down Comrade Musiri David before dragging him into a white Toyota premio and whisked him to an unknown destination.” Kateregga wrote.
According to a post shared on Musiri’s Facebook page (by an admin), Musiri’s elder brother, Kaliballa Kenneth was also whisked away the following night by unknown people
“In related developments, Musiri’s elder brother Kaliballa Kenneth was also in the still of the night whisked off to an unknown destination. His whereabouts remain unrevealed 24 hours after David too was abducted.” The posts reads.
Kateregga has accused the ruling government of targeting youthful opposition leaders through intimidation, torture and imprisonment, however, Campus Bee cannot confirm the allegations.
“The Regime that says won the presidency still continues to target us and wants to finish off all the Youth through imprisonment, Torture, intimidation and many other ways.” Kateregga added.
