Sad news reaching our desk indicates that Ayebare Shivon, a second year Makerere University student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences (BASS) has succumbed to cancer.
People who knew Ayebare have further told this campus news website that the cancer that robbed her soul was Colon Cancer and her burial was held today in Rukungiri District.
Ayebare was hospitalized in Mulago Hospital before breathing her last on Monday morning.
“The home district is in Rukungiri and she succumbed to cancer (related to the intestinal) from Mulago Hospital yesterday morning. Her burial is today.”
May her soul rest in peace.
