Uganda will host the 10th National Conference on Communications (NCC 2026) on September 24–25, 2026, at Makerere University’s Yusuf Lule Central Teaching Facility in Kampala.
Organised under the theme “Accelerating Market-Driven Innovation for Uganda’s Development,” the two-day conference will bring together researchers, ICT professionals, academics, industry players and government officials to share research findings and explore practical solutions to challenges facing Uganda’s communications sector — with an emphasis on connecting new ideas to real innovation opportunities.
The event is convened by the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) under its “Connected Uganda 2030” agenda, in partnership with the Ministry of ICT and National Guidance and Makerere University, which is hosting the conference on its campus.
Sponsors and supporting institutions listed on the conference materials include the Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS), ATC Uganda, the Research and Education Network for Uganda (RENU), and the National Information Technology Authority (NITA-Uganda).
This marks the tenth edition of the conference, which has become a fixture on Uganda’s ICT calendar for bringing together stakeholders across the communications sector.
