Makerere University has started preparations to initiate online learning for all students.
The Vice Chancellor Makerere University Prof. Barnabas Nawangwe says they are training lecturers to appreciate the new system to upload study material.
Nawangwe confirmed to have carried out a survey with students and they welcomed this new system where they will be getting study material online. The biggest public university also ran a survey seeking students’ opinions on their ability to purchase laptops on hire purchase from the university.
Universities have been closed from March 2020 due to fears over the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
