Makerere University students who were heading for the burial of Edgar Williams Nsumba, a final year Medicine and Surgery student who died last week, were today involved in a road scuffle.

According to the eye witnesses, the Makerere University bus of the ‘Dean of Students’ that was carrying over 70 students, drifted off the road and skipped the trench on the roadside until it rammed onto the opposite side of the road.

The incident happened this Monday morning, October 31, 2022 at Namanve damaging only the window. The ‘landing forces’ they say, caused the insignificant wreck.

Fortunately no one was injured with no causalities reported.

The students had undertaken the journey to bid farewell to their colleague Nsumba who succumbed to sickle cell disease on Friday last week.
