Makerere University has announced that its 77th Graduation Ceremony will take place from February 1 to February 5, 2027, giving prospective graduands several months to prepare for the academic milestone.
In a special announcement issued by the university, Academic Registrar Prof. Buyinza Mukadasi confirmed that the five-day graduation ceremony will run from Monday, February 1, to Friday, February 5, 2027.
The university has urged students, parents, guardians and other stakeholders to take note of the dates and make the necessary preparations and adjustments ahead of the ceremony.
The 77th graduation will be another milestone for Uganda’s oldest and largest public university, which annually awards degrees, diplomas and other academic qualifications to thousands of students across various disciplines.
Further details regarding the graduation programme, including the specific colleges and faculties scheduled for each day, are expected to be communicated by the university in due course.
