The Academic Registrar, Makerere University announces that there are still slots for some programmes under the private sponsorship scheme for the 2018/2019 Academic Year. This means students that missed out on admission before can re-apply and stand a chance to be admitted.
Applications are to be submitted online for only ‘A’ Level applicants effective Friday 6th July 2018. Diploma/degree holder applicants should pick hard copy forms from Office 315, Level 3, Senate Building. Other relevant information may be obtained from the Undergraduate Admissions Office, Level 3, Senate Building, Makerere University,
A non-refundable application fee of UG Shs.50,000/= for Ugandans, East African and S. Sudan applicants $75 or UG Shs.172,500/= for International applicants plus Bank charge of UGX 2,750/=should be paid using Makerere University Paying-in-slips.
Candidates who hold grades X, Y, Z, 7 and 9 of ‘O’ Level results should not apply because they are not eligible for admission. Diploma holder applicants who hold class three (3) Diploma Certificates are not eligible for admission and therefore should not apply, except where stated in the diploma holder’s requirements.
