Sorrow, shock, sadness and grief still lingers in the hearts of close friends, relatives and family of Sumayyah Nassanga who passed on sadly and in a manner that has been deemed mysterious and ‘natural’ by close friends. According to her close pals, Nassanga who was a third year student of Makerere University doing a Bachelor Of Arts In Development Economics breathed her last on Sunday after she suddenly started feeling unwell at their home.
Unfortunately, Nassanga didn’t manage to get the treatment necessary as she died while on her way to hospital. Friends say it’s not clear what the cause of her death was and many theories such as sorcery were raised.
A close friend told this website that “all of a sudden Sumayyah started feeling unwell yet she was perfectly fine the previous weeks.”
“She suddenly felt unwell on Sunday morning but unfortunately died as she was being taken to hospital. No postmortem was done since it’s a Muslim family, the mum and dad were convinced their daughter suffered a natural death.”
Friends and family describe Nassanga as a down to earth jolly person who was always there for others.
The late was laid to rest at her ancestral home in Kakiri hours after her death. May her soul rest in peace.
