Makerere University’s long-serving Academic Registrar, Mr Alfred Masikye Namoah on Tuesday, November 1, bowed out and handed over office following the end of his two term tenure at the Ivory Tower.
Mr Namoah who held the position for ten years and six months handed over to Prof. Buyinza Mukadasi, the Director of Research and Graduate Training at Makerere university.
Namoah had earlier announced that he would be resigning from the position and bade farewell to staff in his appreciation letter dated October 31st.
“This is to most sincerely thank you, individually, for the tremendous work done during my term of office…I wish to apologize for any shortcomings,” the letter reads in part.
