Chief sorcerer, Mama Fiina, real names Sylvia Namutebi has enrolled in Uganda Christian University to advance her career, Campusbee has learnt. The traditional herbalist will pursue a bachelor’s in Herbology.
Mama Fiina told this website that she feels the urge to improve her cocktail of herbs, hence the need to acquire further studies. “I am glad to be joining Uganda Christian University and I hope to make some good friends from other courses, since I am told I am so far the only student in the entire university pursuing Herbology. I am also excited about getting to know a bar I have been hearing about quite a lot….it is called oba de Hibe…simayi Hive,” she told Campusbee.
We asked the UCU Vice Chancellor, John Musisi Ssenyonyi why Mama Fiina was admitted: “Being a herbalist doesn’t mean we will not admit a student. We recently introduced the Herbology course to cater for the needs of those students who would love to be great mixers of herbs, apart from weed of course.”
Happy Fools Day!
